I am a frontend engineer working between design and platform. Five years, five companies — healthcare, learning platforms, internal tools — and usually the only frontend on the project.

The work I am proudest of is a doctor-facing dashboard I built alone: twenty modules of patient data, from CGM reports and insulin logs to prescriptions and lab results, on a component library written by hand under a no-UI-library policy. When it broke in production, I was the one who fixed it.

Lately the work has extended past the browser — NestJS, Postgres, role-based access — designing the API alongside the interface on top of it. Most of what that has taught me is how often a frontend problem is really a contract problem: on an earlier project, generating a proxy layer from the OpenAPI spec removed most of the rework whenever the backend changed.
